Major Responsibilities:
and Duties:

Under minimal supervision, provides technical knowledge and leadership for designated interface groups. Provides installation, diagnostics, repair and reliability of industrial control systems and outfit.

1. Interface between staff engineers, external technical representatives, power transmission and distribution representatives, operations, and maintenance personnel. Experience with rule system

maintenance and associated plot development/implementation.

2. Provides installation, diagnostics, repair and reliability of industrial control equipment (i.e. instrumentation, pertaining communications, HMI, PLC, PC interface, protective relaying, power

metering, and third party equipment).

3. Actively participates in safeness and environmental programs and other programs determined by management.

4. Other duties as assigned.

Mininium Requirements:

•Complettion of an approved electrical/instrumentation certification program and/or minimum of five (5) years electrical/instrumentation repair and maintenance in an industrial setting.

•Completion of designated internal certification program within one year of hire

•Experience in SCADA and HMI/PLC based control systems

•Experience in affording protection relaying and power metering

•Experience with acknowledgment/commissioning of substation equipment

•Strong technical knowledge in communication, interfaces and protocols

•Ability to read, discern and apply information from technical manuals, prints, and schematics during trouble shooting and retouch

•High place of education diploma or GED

•Valid State Drivers License

•Effective written and verbal communication skills to satisfy training, safety, and electronic message transmission policies of the company

•Ability to labor weekends, holidays, rotating shifts and both scheduled and unscheduled overtime as business needs dictate

•Able to perform the essential functions of the job at the time of the job offer with or outside of reasonable accommodations

Preferred Qualifications:

Associates of Applied Science Degree in a technical field

Experience with harmonic analysis and sway load shedding

Knowledge of power distribution system switching

HMI/PLC programming and troubleshooting experience

Understanding of networking fundamentals

Understanding of historical data collection systems

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

•Work is performed in a ruin or manufacturing plant which may include exposure to extremities in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical mind, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, explosives, fumes or airborne particles.

•While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, work on elevated platforms, talk, hear and see.

•Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy to heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) during the course of the workday.

•Personal protective equipment is required on a regular groundwork, including hard hat, hearing protection, close custody glasses, safety foot wear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, affording protection clothing, gloves and other protective equipment as required.
