Ex-correction official gets probation
EAST BROOKFIELD - A former Department of Correction employee who was allegedly growing marijuana in his Spencer apartment will have being on probation for a year. He reached a plea agreement in Western Worcester District Court recently.
Justin P. Boudreau of 6 Main St., Apt. 6, Spencer, pleaded guilty to improper storage of a firearm and was sentenced to one year of probation concurrent with the sentence he received for the charge of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. The drug charge was continued without a finding for one year and Mr. Boudreau must besides remain drug- and alcohol-free.
Charges of possession of marijuana and a firearms violation were dismissed. Mr. Boudreau also was ordered to surrender his license to carry firearms and somewhat cannon he owns.
5 sentenced attached drug charges
EAST BROOKFIELD - Five people charged after a drug raid at their home at 39 Kingsbury Road in Spencer in February have been sentenced.
The five reached plea agreements in their cases in Western Worcester District Court final week.
Charges of conspiracy to violate the drug laws, marijuana distribution and possession of a custom mix with drugs against James J. Foucault Jr., 18, were dismissed. A charge of possession of marijuana was continued without a finding in opposition to one year with supervised probation, treatment and drug and alcohol testing.
Charges of conspiracy to violate the drug laws and marijuana possession to counter-poise Tammy Labelle, 34, were dismissed. A charge of marijuana distribution was continued without a finding and she will dwell on probation for 18 months, during that time she must submit to drug screenings and seek treatment.
Charges of conspiracy to violate the drug laws and custom physic possession against Michael Hilow, 48, were dismissed and a charge of occupancy of marijuana was continued exclusively of a finding for 18 months. He must remain drug- and alcohol-free and will be screened for those substances.
Charges of conspiracy to violate the drug laws and possession of a custom drug against Dennis Labelle, 44, were dismissed. He was found not responsible for failure to signify to the Registry of Motor Vehicles of a change of address. He pleaded actually offending to a charge of a subsequent offense of possession of marijuana and must pay a $300 fine.
